COVID-19 Response

We are currently completing the Missouri ArtSafe Certification process.

What is Missouri ArtSafe?
The Missouri Arts Council promotes COVID-19 safe practices by arts and cultural organizations statewide when the arts reopen under local guidelines. Together with the Missouri Arts Safety Alliance, a coalition of organizations throughout the state, we have created Missouri ArtSafe Certification. Organizations become certified by pledging and adhering to a core level of safe practices.

Health & Safety Plan

The safety and health of our artists, patrons, and friends is of utmost importance as we work to bring Tennessee’s work back to our beloved St. Louis community in person. TWStL’s COVID-19 health and safety plan is aligned with local and regional public health guidelines.

Our full plan centers around key health and safety measures, including:
Mandatory Health Screenings & Contact Tracing
Masks
Reduced Contact & Social Distancing
Sanitizing and Disinfecting
Staff Training

We are continually monitoring federal, state, and local guidelines to ensure our policies and procedures stay current and aligned to public health safety measures.

Mandatory Health Screenings & Contact Tracing
To contain and protect our workforce and guests against COVID-19, we will actively encourage sick employees to stay home and send sick employees home immediately. We will implement mandatory health screening assessment onsite for any in-person contact (e.g. questionnaire, temperature check) before employees begin work each day and for essential visitors, asking about COVID-19 symptoms, positive COVID-19 tests, and/or close contact with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case. Our questionnaire will be revised as needed, based on the most up-to-date public health guidance. Contract tracing will be used to ensure anyone with potential exposure is notified.

Masks
Face coverings are an effective way to slow the spread of COVID-19. When people wear cloth masks with two or more layers, they protect themselves and protect others. Artists and production staff will be required to wear proper face coverings. Audience and visitors will be required to comply with local mask-wearing mandates.

Reduced Contact & Social Distancing
We will ensure appropriate social distancing per community health guidelines between personnel, unless safety or core function of the work activity requires a shorter distance. Members of the same household or living unit do not have to remain 6 feet apart from each other. Should a situation arise when employees cannot be at least 6 ft. apart from one another, they will be required to wear acceptable face coverings. Contactless ticketing and assigned distanced seating will be used whenever possible.

Sanitizing and Disinfecting
To ensure that recommended hygiene and cleaning procedures are in place, expect increased cleaning procedures throughout the theatre—especially of high-traffic and high-touch areas. We also will ensure adequate hand-sanitizing stations, wipes, and sanitizer are available throughout the theatre.

Staff Training
Frontline workers will be required to view the Missouri ArtSafe training video. Staff has viewed it and will follow the guidance from the video.

TWStL expects its artists, audiences, patrons, and staff to follow city ordinances and additional health and security precautions. Please note that you may be asked to leave without refund if you do not adhere to these precautions.
